Terms & Conditions

The Terms and Conditions of the holiday letting as agreed to by both parties are as follows. Departure from these conditions by the guest permits the property owner or the agent (Coast & Country Holidays) to refuse access, amend the tariff or immediately terminate the occupancy. The Terms and Conditions are to be read in conjunction with the Booking Confirmation letter and Security Bond form, which set out the details of the property being booked, the date and duration of the stay and the due dates for payments of monies.

1. For all bookings, the balance of the tariff is to be paid no less than 14 days prior to the arrival date. For bookings made within 14 days of arrival date, full payment must be made at the time of making the booking. For Christmas Holiday bookings, the full balance of the tariff must be paid no later than the 1st of December. HomeAway final Christmas payment is 14 days prior to arrival.

2. Re-booking rights may only be offered over the Christmas Holidays and at the discretion and approval of the owner. Re-booking will be confirmed upon payment of the holding deposit and will only be accepted where the previous occupation has been satisfactory.

3. All bookings made more than 6 months prior to arrival require a payment of a $200 holding deposit within 7 days to secure the booking, with the remainder of the 50% deposit due no less than 6 months prior to arrival date and the balance of the tariff due no less than 14 days prior to arrival.

4. Bookings will only be confirmed once a 50% deposit and the $79 booking fee have both been paid. Confirmation is subject to the completion and return of the signed Terms & Conditions and Security Bond form prior to your arrival.

5. Failure to meet the above terms or refusal to sign the Terms & Conditions and complete the Security Bond form may result in the automatic cancellation of your booking. No refund of monies paid will be offered unless the property is re-booked for the entire period as per the Cancellations terms below.

6. If paying by VISA or MasterCard a 0.50 cent surcharge applies to all payments. Where a payment is overdue or a booking is made less than 14 days prior to arrival, payment by VISA or MasterCard with accompanying surcharge may be the only option available.

1. Cancellation of a booking will result in the full forfeit of moneys paid unless the property is re-booked for the entire period. If the property is only re-booked for part of the period, a partial refund may be offered only at the discretion of the owner.

2. In the event that a refund is offered, a $50 administrative fee will apply and will be subtracted from the refundable amount. In all cases, booking fees and credit card surcharges are non-refundable.

3. Requests by the guest to change or extend confirmed booking dates are subject to the approval of the owner and the agent, and where approved may incur a re-booking fee of $79.

4. All cancellations or requests to change booking dates must be received in writing.

5. If a booking is cancelled due to payment not being received by the due date and is later reinstated, a re-booking fee of $79 may apply to reinstate the booking.
