Comfortable Family Getaway in Beachside Windang

This family-friendly three-bedroom holiday home has everything you need for a relaxed and enjoyable stay in the beachside suburb of Windang. While the property is of an older style, it is spacious, well-maintained, and thoughtfully equipped for families wanting comfort, convenience, and room to unwind. Comfortable sleeps 6 but can accommodate 8 if using the fold out sofa bed in the back lounge area.

Inside, the home features a large, fully equipped kitchen including a dishwasher, making family meals easy. There are two separate living areas, both with TVs, offering plenty of space for everyone to spread out. Air conditioning is provided in the front lounge room only, while the bedrooms are fitted with ceiling fans (please note there is no air-conditioning in the bedrooms).

For added convenience, the laundry includes a second fridge, washing machine, and a second toilet—perfect for longer stays or larger families.

Outdoor Living & Entertainment:
Step outside to a fully fenced yard, ideal for children, with a generous outdoor entertaining area featuring a BBQ for relaxed family meals. Enjoy summertime fun in the in-ground swimming pool, or rinse off after the beach using the outdoor shower. Windang Beach is just a short walk away.

The local area offers a wide range of activities including fishing, swimming, snorkelling, and other water sports. The Lake Illawarra Foreshore Bike Track, running from Windang to Shellharbour, is right at your doorstep and is perfect for walking or cycling along scenic waterfront views.

Within walking distance you’ll find local cafes, Thai and Indian restaurants, fish and chip shops, the Lake Illawarra Hotel, and Club Windang. Just south of the property is Reddall Reserve, a favourite family destination offering a large children’s playground, BBQ facilities, swimming, boating, and easy access to both lake and ocean.

Explore the Warilla Beach seawall walkway, enjoy a round at the nearby par-72 Port Kembla Golf Course, or visit the driving range and mini golf for family-friendly fun. Head north to Warrawong Plaza for shopping, dining, cinemas, and a visit to Port Kembla Beach.

Windang is approximately 15–20 minutes south of Wollongong, with Jamberoo Action Park just 20 minutes away—perfect for a full day of family fun—along with numerous local walking tracks and nature experiences.

There is no garage access for guests; however, ample parking is available in the driveway within the fully fenced yard or on the street.

Pets (dogs only) may be considered on an individual basis for stays of 7 nights or longer only. Approval is required prior to booking.
